Online check-in is a quick and convenient way to check in for your flight yourself. Using the online check-in service, you have the opportunity to reduce the time spent at the airport and independently choose a convenient seat in the cabin.

You can check- in online for flights of airlines operating from and to Azerbaijan International Airports, handled by ASG GH.

Note: Online registration service is a service of the airlines. ASG GH is not responsible for possible technical failures during the registration process.

Founded in 2019, ASG Handling Company provides a wide range of ground handling services for scheduled passenger flights, ensuring efficiency and high quality of service. As a member of IATA, the company is guided by the established standards and recommendations, carrying out a large range of organizational measures to introduce innovative solutions in the service delivery process, which ,undoubtedly, contributes to an increase in air transportation and tourist flow to Azerbaijan.

Our company provides the following services:

  • Arrangement and provision of full range of ground handling and passenger services for  domestic and international airlines;
  • “Follow -me” service to and from its  assigned parking stand;
  • Baggage handling, search and storage of unclaimed baggage;
  • Transportation on the ramp, loading and unloading of baggage, cargo and mail;
  • Towing and positioning of the aircraft to its parking stand;
  • Providing power supply system for aircraft;
  • Cabin heating and cooling system;
  • Aircraft toilet services;
  • De-icing services;
  • Transportation of passengers and crew members;
  • Provision of airbridges and passenger steps for boarding and disembarking of passengers;

Rules

ASG GH follows to the Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, legal enactments of air transportation regulation in the scope of  passengers, baggage and cargo  handling services, as well as  to industry standards and rules of air carriers.

Passenger and baggage check-in

  • To go through the established pre-flight formalities (check-in procedures, excess baggage fees, inspection, customs border and other formalities, registration of exit and entry documents), the Passenger must arrive at the check-in place with the documents necessary for travel no later than the time specified by the Airline (or its agent). Check-in  for international flights at the airport at ends one hour before the time of departure. If the Passenger arrives at the check-in desk after its end or  without the necessary travel documents, the airline has the right to cancel the booking and is not obliged to delay the flight. The airline is obliged to inform the passenger about the check-in deadline in advance.
  • To complete the check-in process and register the baggage, the Passenger must provide a document based on which the Ticket was issued. If it's necessary, the Passenger must have documents certifying the special conditions for the carriage of himself and his baggage (a power of attorney for a child, a medical report, a veterinary certificate, etc.)
  • The seat that  passenger wants to deisgnate  in accordance with the class of service can be provided only upon availability.
  • At the check-in desk,the passenger receives the boarding pass, which includes the passenger's initials and surname, flight number, departure date, departure time and seat on board the aircraft. Boarding of the passenger  on corresponing flight is realized on base of the boarding pass, presented by the passenger
  • The boarding finishes 15 minutes before the departure of the flight. The passenger is informed about this at check-in desk.

 

Carriage of special categories of passengers:

The special category of passengers (SCPs) and their baggage are subject to the general conditions of carriage.

The rules set out below  concern only to the features related to the provision of special amenities and safety of transportation, the application of tariffs and the compliance with the requirements of state authorities.

 

Transportation of passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility (PRM):

  • Passengers with disabilities  and reduced mobility are provided with pre-arranged seats. When a PRM passenger  is transported, the Airline must be provided ( not later than 48 prior to departure of the AC)  with  medical report signed by a doctor, containing a permit for  air transportation , as well as requirements for the conditions of carriage.
  • PRM Passengers, who are medically prohibited from using oxygen cylinders, are not accepted to carriage.
  • Carriage of seriously ill passengers and patients on stretchers or in a wheelchair is carried out only if accompanied by persons or a doctor (if the patient's condition / health requires medical supervision)
  • A blind / deaf passenger is transported with an accompanying person or accompanied by a guide dog (provided that such a dog will be at his feet during the flight in a muzzle and on a leash)

 

Transportation of pregnant women, postpartum women and newborns:

  • Pregnant women are transported according to the requirements of the carrier
  • Pregnant women may be transported if they are provided with a written medical report stating that there are no contraindications to air transportation on the date of the flight specified in the ticket and the period of pregnancy. A medical certificate must be issued no earlier than 7 days before the flight. If there are no medical documents, transportation of pregnant women is prohibited.
  • Transportation of birth mothers and newborns during the first 7 days after delivery is prohibited.

Baggage tracing

Unfortunately, there are quite a few cases of luggage loss during the flight. In particular, baggage is often lost on transfer flights that involve transshipment of baggage from one flight to another at a transfer airport when time is limited.

 

Clearance of missing baggage

If a passenger has not received his baggage upon arrival at the destination airport, he should contact the baggage tracing offices (LOST & FOUND) to issue the relevant documents on the loss of baggage. Offices are usually located in the baggage claim area.

At LOST & FOUND office, the passenger must applly for  a document confirming that he have not receive his luggage upon arrival at the destination airport – PIR (property irregulation report). This document specifies the passenger’s full name, flight route, information about the lost baggage (number of seats, weight, baggage tag numbers, distinctive features of the baggage, passenger’s contact numbers, baggage delivery address, etc.).

 

Lost baggage tracking.

After PIR is completed, the process of searching for the lost baggage begins.

As a rule, the process of searching for lost baggage is carried out within 100 days.
